My Design Process
Prepare with the team to understand the history and the events that have affected the project.
It is like a step back of everything so I can understand before starting.
Conduct research with users, stakeholders and investigation.
Surveys, customer service feedback, user interviews, heuristics evaluation, user feedback, Personas, Empathy mapping, Customer Journeys, etc.
Gather all research findings, Personas, user/customer journeys, data analysis and business strategy and synthesise user problems.
Have clear understanding of what is the problem we are going to solve.
Brainstoming sessions together with thecolaborators, peers and users.
Activities like Crazy 8’s, Design sprints and How might we’s
Also utilize fast low fidelity paper prototyping and expose ideas.
Collaborate and try pair designing or peer critique while building prototypes.
Discuss prototypes with business stakeholders, check feasibility with dev team and discuss interactions and components with team.
Test prototypes with real or mocked data.
Guerrilla test with Internal staff. look for in product user feedback.
When possible, I should be able to analyze my deliverables not only with end user but also with the starting purpose of the development of this solution.
Stay in communication with the dev team and the QA individuals in order to keep track of your designs. help devs to achieve the design and help QA in order to reach quality expectations.
